AfterCare Program

The Anthony School provides an Aftercare Program on a daily basis from 3:00 p. m. - 5:45 p. m. Our students are cared for in a nurturing, adult-supervised environment that emphasizes safety issues, socialization skills, and academic achievement. All students are given the opportunity to attend a homework room where a certified teacher is available to assist with homework, review it when completed, and remediate if necessary.

Our program provides structure with flexibility, keeping in mind that children need a balance between structured and unstructured activities. Adult supervisors as well as high school aides provide a safe environment for children to participate in provided activities.

Fees for the Aftercare Program can be obtained in the main office. Parents are expected to be prompt in, observing the pick-up times and providing the office with requested information.

Summer Programs

The Anthony School offers a wide variety of high quality enrichment classes throughout the summer. Classes begin in early June and are completed by the beginning of August. Academic programs, sports, camps, classes of fine arts are held for children of all ages. Instructors are certified teachers, coaches, and experts in their fields. Teachers design and teach their individual classes based on professional expertise.

Summer classes provide unique and exciting experiences for children of all ages. Students are given the opportunity to grow intellectually, physically, creatively, and socially. The Anthony School students are encouraged to invite friends from other schools to enroll and to enjoy the activities.

The Anthony School is the host school to many activities in the summer. Other organizations periodically schedule events to be held at Anthony.

The Summer Adventure schedule is available mid April. This schedule provides descriptions, dates, and registration fees for each activity offered.

Tutoring/Study Hall

The Anthony School is very fortunate to have teachers available for after school study hall and individual tutoring. Information on teachers available can be obtained in the main office. Individual staff members set fees.
