The Anthony School's teaching and learning environment attracts exceptionally qualified, dedicated teachers to our school community. Anthony is fortunate to have a strong, experienced staff. Fifty percent of the faculty have ten or more years of teaching experience; fourteen have earned their master's degrees. Twenty seven faculty members have been at Anthony for five years or more.
Anthony teachers and students at all levels recognize the right of every teacher to teach and every student to learn in an atmosphere of mutual respect. Teachers work and plan together to ensure continuity of curriculum and high standards for performance. They stay focused on developing each student to his fullest potential.
Enthusiastic teachers are eager learners, and no investment pays greater dividends for students and teachers than quality professional development. The Anthony School requires its teachers to engage in professional development. Employees are encouraged to attend various conferences, clinics, and workshops which will enhance their teaching.
New staff members participate in an orientation program at the beginning of the school year. A mentor program helps them assimilate into The Anthony School community; division coordinators offer extensive attention as in-house mentors throughout the school year.
